Get ready for a new morning favourite - Coffee Cake French Toast! Made with Special Edition Nutpods Coffee Cake Creamer, this french toast is extra delicious. Don’t forget the coconut whip!
Serves 4
Gluten-Free, Vegan
Ingredients:
½ cup liquid egg alternative (I used ‘Just Egg’)
⅓ cup Nutpods Coffee Cake Unsweetened & Dairy Free Almond + Coconut Creamer
1 tablespoon maple syrup
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch salt
8 slices Carbonaut gluten-free bread
Vegan butter, for cooking
Cha’s Organics vegan coconut whipped cream, for serving
Strawberries, for serving
Maple syrup, for serving
Directions:
In a bowl, whisk together the liquid egg alternative, Nutpods coffee cake creamer, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
Over medium heat, lightly grease a pan with vegan butter.
Dunk the slices of bread into the liquid mixture, making sure to coat both sides. Transfer to the hot pan, and sprinkle with more cinnamon. Cook until golden, about 3 minutes per side.
Serve with vegan whipped cream, strawberries, and maple syrup.
